Kristen is an ambitious and motivating business communications coach for Boston Global’s clients. Sharing time between the U.S. and South America, Kristen has several years of experience teaching in various formats to people from all over the world. She has 11 years of experience working in Community and Economic Development both in the U.S. and abroad. Each of the leadership roles she’s held have equipped her with a unique and diverse skillset including co-creating and setting organizational vision, working with people on personal and professional leadership development skills, collaborating with various stakeholders, inspiring buy-in, and developing governing boards and advisory committees. She also has experience designing curriculum and managing programs for schools and companies such as Johns Hopkins and GoInternational.tv. She holds two degrees, a Bachelor of Science in Family Studies and Bachelor of Arts in Spanish. Since Spanish is her 2nd language, Kristen knows the amount of work and discipline it takes to communicate across cultures. She uses that firsthand experience to motivate professionals to set achievable goals and reach higher performance at work. Kristen is a Certified Birkman Consultant and works with teams to help them communicate better. She enjoys working with others to discover their unique style of leadership and create strategies for how to fully operate in it. Kristen also holds a Certificate from Harvard Business School’s online Entrepreneurship Essentials Program and is very interested in social enterprise endeavors. Her love for education extends to her personal life where she tends to study personal and professional development, neuroscience, communication, psychology and business.
